My name is “Anny Junaid” and I run a page under the name Home Spices. Before my marriage I was the person who don’t know how to cook . I used to collect different recipes from magazines and newspapers and even wrote recipes in my recipe diary but never tried such recipes. After getting married i started cooking i did few blunders too. But with time developed my cooking skills and cooking become that part of my life which makes me happy.

I started experimenting and trying different recipes and everyone around me always appreciated me and enjoyed my food. My family started motivating me to start a home based food venture but being an arthritis patient i was not ready if i will ever be able to do this but after sometime decided to give it a try in 2018 and started a Facebook page on 7 nov 2018 and my first logo was designed by my husband and children’s then as my work grew and i started getting orders i was asked to get a professional logo and then i got it design by a graphic designer.

This year it will be 4 years to me growing with my page and learning different recipes and techniques. Came across different customers too some would humiliate you or just continuously irritate you my weird questions and some would order food and not pay and some would even return order if by chance due to traffic the orders were not delivered on time. But most important were that 95 percent of my customers who motivated me loved my food and always look forward to order again. I even participated in different events and in some get amazing responses and everything was sold out before event ends.

During these 3 years i joined several Facebook groups including “Homemade Food Services” which taught me how to grow my little homebased business and provide different opportunities to learn and understand dos and don’ts for ventures like mine and met people in same field and some became really good friends who helped each other to grow and looked forward to meet ups to be with friends and learned and share experiences together. I sell frozen foods like zinger bites, peri bite, box patties, tikka roll, wontons etc. I sell chana chaat, khatte Aloo, curry cholay, memoni khausa, tarragon steak, beef steak, and Chinese item like beef chilly dry, Manchurian and much more. Even make desserts like kheer, brownies etc . We have something for each one of you and you will surely love our food. Sometimes it gets tough with other responsibilities in life as being a housewife is in itself a 24/7 work. But I am now better at managing work and life and still learning to improve more. This journey was never an easy thing for me their are ups and downs in every work but positive response from customers and their appreciation and my family’s support always keeps me going and now cooking is like a therapy to me.

Women can do any work either home based or 9/5 job and even manage home at the same time . Biggest obstacles can be crossed and things can be achieved and family support make things little easier.
