Japanese Consul General Marks Hiroshima Peace Ceremony in Karachi

KARACHI: The Consul General of Japan in Karachi, HATTORI Masaru, joined the Hiroshima Commemoration Ceremony at Links School, Karachi, where he delivered remarks on the human cost of war and Japan’s enduring commitment to peace.

The ceremony encouraged students to reflect on the importance of preserving the memory of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and building a more peaceful future. Consul General HATTORI also joined students in making origami cranes, a symbol of peace, and participated in a tree planting ceremony to commemorate the occasion.
