Meet Chef Samia Jamil – A Name of Talent

Chefs, like famous celebrities, have attracted a lot of public attention. People enjoy learning and following new recipes in order to prepare delectable meals for their loved ones. Samia Jamil is a well-known chef who appears on television to share her delectable meals and cooking ideas.

Chef Samia Jamil is a gifted chef and master in the culinary arts; she completed her education and then went on to learn more about confectionery from various institutions. She began working in a renowned 4 star hotel in Karachi, the Regent Plaza Hotel, after qualifying as a chef. She is now running her well-known show, Weekend Maza, and doing various shows on various channels, the most popular of which is Quick Recipe on Zaiqa TV, where she shares her best recipes with our viewers. She is also running her own bakery, Hazel’s Food and Bakerz, and she is also running the institute as the H.O.D of The Professional’s Institute, which is all about culinary. Her recipes also appear every month in renowned Pakistani magazines, and she has established a name for herself not only in Karachi but throughout Pakistan.

In 2010, a career was born. As a cake artist, she enjoys seeing people’s faces light up when they witness one of her masterpieces bring their cake dreams to life. Each one-of-a-kind cake is made from scratch and hand-decorated. A stunningly beautiful and mouth-watering homemade cake. All cakes are made with the finest ingredients, including whole creams, fresh fruits, real butter, and the finest imported European chocolate. Chef Samia Jamil is the creator of CEBO – Caters Event Bakers Organization, a non-profit that gives women the opportunity to start their own business. It helps women who work from home and keep their businesses afloat by exposing them to the current market.

CEBO began as a Facebook community over four years ago and now has a mass number of female membership. This huge platform has been created by the very well known and celebrity chef Samia Jamil. She has felt the need of this platform 3 years back and came up with this astonishing idea. She has made this possible with her uncountable efforts and struggle. She encourages women to start their businesses and to become entrepreneurs. Samia jamil once said in her interview that “this group is made to acknowledge the efforts of those women who started their business in hard times and resulted in supporting their families and their male partners very positively. All these women who are watching me or are present with me at this event are warriors for me”.

Samia, in another interview, also said; “these types of events are very beneficial for small scale businesses, especially for women who are working from home. Working from home is not a taboo anymore, and women must come forward with their home-based products and that you can carry on with your passion and simultaneously grow your business too”.

CEBO founded by Chef Samia Jamil, aims to support home-based bakers, caters, confectioners, frozen-food-makers, delivery-services, item-distributors, food-packaging, food-suppliers, event-planners, event-crafters, photographers,  videographers, culinary-institutes, chefs, food-stylist, cooking-experts, food-bloggers, print-media & baking-tools-suppliers. CEBO’s project is significant, and it was desperately needed by Pakistani women to help them stand on their own two feet. We hope CEBO grows stronger and Pakistani women become more self-reliant. CEBO has more than 30k members working in women empowerment entirely based on Entrepreneurs mostly.

Chef Samia whole heartedly promotes small scale businesses Male/Female both, and by the grace of Almighty Allah, her group CEBO runs activities like Program Himmat, Program Hunarmand, CEBO Social Hub, CEBO Lounge, Choti Si Naiki, Project Sooch, Project Udaan, Project Musavvir, CEBO Healthy Lifestyle & CEBO Activity. During this phase of Covid-19, Team CEBO worked tirelessly for encouraging and bringing the Cebopreneurs from dark phase of marketing and economy downfall faced by almost every worker, especially the home-based ones. She’s one of the thousands of women who stood strong and encouraged others with full courage to pursue their dreams and support their Families!
