RCK ‘Avenue’ to provide training and employment to special persons with blind vision – Sheikh Imtiaz Hussain

President of Rotary Club of Karachi ‘Avenue’, Mr. Sheikh Imtiaz Hussain said; “Rotary Club will provide training and employment to special persons with blind vision. RCK ‘Avenue’ has established a dedicated institution ‘Binai Avenue’ for the sole purpose of providing/creating better opportunities to special persons with blind vision.”

President RCK ‘Avenue’ said; “Zaamin Group’s efforts to support special persons with blind vision by arranging a training session for them must be praised”. President RCK ‘Avenue’ was speaking at training session jointly arrange by RCK ‘Avenue’ and Zaamin Group.

Other office bearers of RCK ‘Avenue’ present on this occasion were Senior Vice President Junaid-ur-Rehman, Vice President Afsheen Abid, Co-Ordinator Faisal Maqsood, Abid Hussain, Haris Arshad and Zahid. Also present was President Binai Avenue Salman Ilahi and from Zaamin Builders (Pvt.) Limited Sarwat Naseem Shah, Regional Manager Mahnoor Syed, Senior Manager Abdul Kareem along-with other Rotarians and selected media personnel.

Sheikh Imtiaz Hussain said; “at an average, a society has around 10 ~ 15% special persons due to various reasons and they do not have access to education and employment. ‘Binai Avenue’ which is wholly owned subsidy of RCK ‘Avenue’ is at forefront to help these special persons by arranging training and educational sessions for them and by trying to create employment opportunities for them”.

Sheikh Imtiaz Hussain added by saying; “Zaamin group as per agreement will give employment to these special persons with blind vision. Zaamin builder till now is the only organization providing employment to such large number of special persons in real estate sector. This will definitely improve the economic and social situation of the ones employed by Zaamin Group”.

Sheikh imtiaz hussain further said; “to create more opportunities for special persons with blind vision, private sector must be encouraged to come forward in this direction and they should take steps for establishing institutes similar to the one that we have i.e. ‘Binai Avenue’.”

On concluding note Sheikh imtiaz hussain further said; “special persons with blind vision have immense potential and abilities and they can perform outstandingly in many other sectors too. They can attain prominent position despite having blind vision only because of their God gifted abilities and once employed they will be able to support their families, will become role model for others like them and they would be able to play a positive role in the society”. 

President Sheikh Imtiaz Hussain also praised the efforts of Professor Dr. Farhan Essa Abdullah, who is the District Governor (2020-21) of Rotary international 3271 and on concluding note President RCK ‘Avenue’ said; “Rotary Club has always served humanity to their best and will keep on serving humanity to best of its abilities”.
