Dr. Abdullatif Alshanqiti, a dedicated young Saudi physician, continues to make remarkable progress in the field of medicine through his academic excellence, clinical expertise, and commitment to emergency healthcare services. A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at Taibah University, Dr. Alshanqiti earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree with Second-Class Honors. He further demonstrated his medical proficiency by successfully passing the Saudi Medical License Examination (SMLE), administered by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, with an impressive score.

With extensive clinical exposure, Dr. Alshanqiti completed his internship training across the two holy cities of Islam, Madinah and Makkah. He later pursued specialized clinical attachments and elective training in the Department of Otolaryngology at King Salman Medical City and King Abdullah Medical City. He is currently serving as a General Practitioner in the Emergency Unit at Haramain Train Station in Madinah. During the Hajj seasons of 1446H and 1447H, he also worked as an Emergency Physician, providing critical healthcare services to pilgrims. In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Alshanqiti actively participated in community welfare through more than 200 hours of voluntary service with the Red Crescent Authority at Al Masjid Al Nabawi, reflecting his dedication to humanitarian and patient-centered care.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Alshanqiti has demonstrated strong leadership and educational commitment. During the Hajj season of 1447H, he served as the Head of Public Health and Education, overseeing health-awareness initiatives for pilgrims, visitors, and the emergency team. In this role, he contributed to the education and training of emergency unit staff and provided targeted health guidance to pilgrims and visitors to support safer care and improved health outcomes.

Dr. Alshanqiti also has a solid scholarly record with eight published articles. His publications include one in General Surgery, five in Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery, and two in Orthopedics, reflecting his broad academic engagement and clinical depth across multiple specialties.

Dr. Alshanqiti further contributes to community health through ongoing volunteer work, with eight additional initiatives focused on public education and health promotion. These efforts include raising awareness about a range of diseases and health trends, promoting organ donation, supporting individuals with disabilities, and improving community knowledge of diabetes and healthy lifestyle practices.
