Celebrating the values of unity, loyalty and national belonging
DUBAI: Union Coop raised the UAE flag across all its branches and malls to mark UAE Flag Day, in response to the call of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may Allah protect him, for institutions and organisations nationwide to raise the national flag. The celebrations reaffirmed Union Coop’s pride in the UAE’s national identity and its loyalty to the nation and its leadership.
The flag-raising ceremony, led by Mohamed Al Hashemi, CEO of Union Coop, brought together division and department heads alongside employees, reflecting the organisation’s unity and shared pride in the occasion.
The initiative forms part of Union Coop’s commitment to celebrating national occasions across its workplaces, strengthening employees’ connection to national symbols and embedding Emirati values within its organisational culture.

“Raising the UAE flag across Union Coop’s branches and buildings expresses our pride in belonging to this nation and our appreciation for the foundations laid by its wise leadership,” he said. “It also reaffirms our shared commitment to the values of the Union and our national identity, as well as our determination to support initiatives that strengthen responsibility and belonging within the community.”
