Karachi prepares to welcome artists from around the world once again

KARACHI: Preparations for the 3rd World Culture Festival Karachi 2026, organised by the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, have entered their final stage, while the arrival of international artists and delegates in the city has also begun. Billboards promoting the festival have been installed along major thoroughfares across Karachi.

The 25-day World Culture Festival, running from October 29 to November 22, will bring together more than 1,000 international artists from 150 countries, alongside over 500 Pakistani artists, who will showcase their talents across a wide range of artistic disciplines.

The festival will feature an extensive programme of music, theatre, dance, film, fine arts and other art forms, offering audiences an opportunity to experience the diverse cultures, traditions and creative expressions of artists from around the world. The festival aims to provide a shared platform for cultural exchange, promote connections among nations through art and creativity, and highlight Pakistan’s positive image on the international stage.
