KARACHI: VYU, a video-first fashion shopping platform, is now live in Pakistan following a six-hour launch livestream featuring veteran actress Bushra Ansari and Instagram Influencer Duo, Ron & Coco. The stream had already reached 4.5 million live views across Facebook, Instagram and YouTube as of 9:00 PM PKT on October 24.
VYU is built around what it calls Entertainment Commerce: shoppers watch styling content, celebrity segments and fashion discussions, then buy the featured products directly from the video. At launch, the platform offers women’s fashion from a range of brands across clothing, footwear, handbags and accessories.
The launch stream brings together styling segments, fashion discussions and entertainment, with Bushra Ansari and Ron & Coco sharing styling tips, fashion advice and personal anecdotes with viewers.
