DUBAI: Mykonos Dubai, a new Greek restaurant and lounge, is set to open its doors in September 2026 at Swissôtel Al Murooj, Downtown Dubai, bringing the flavours, hospitality and vibrant atmosphere of the Greek islands to the heart of the city.
Inspired by the spirit of Mykonos, the new dining destination will combine Greek and Mediterranean cuisine with relaxed, social dining in a setting designed to evoke the character of the celebrated Aegean island. From leisurely lunches and dinners to evenings shared with friends, Mykonos Dubai has been created as a destination where food, atmosphere and Greek hospitality come together.
The restaurant’s interiors draw on the instantly recognizable aesthetic of Mykonos, with crisp white walls, cobalt blue detailing, vibrant bougainvillea and natural textures creating a bright, island-inspired setting. Mediterranean-style flooring and traditional Greek design elements complete the space, offering guests a taste of the Aegean in the centre of Downtown Dubai.
At the heart of Mykonos Dubai is a menu created around the Mediterranean tradition of sharing food around the table. A selection of hot and cold mezze includes Greek favourites such as tzatziki, tirokafteri, melitzanosalata, feta and saganaki, alongside grilled halloumi, stuffed vine leaves, crisp calamari and garlic shrimp.
The menu continues with a substantial selection from the grill, including chicken and lamb souvlaki, lamb chops, beef tenderloin, ribeye and Wagyu striploin. Seafood also plays a prominent role, with dishes ranging from grilled seabass and king prawns to grilled octopus, seafood linguine and lobster pasta.
Designed for groups and the convivial style of dining synonymous with Greece, Mykonos Dubai also offers a selection of generous sharing dishes, including its Meat Platter, Seafood Platter and signature Royal Mykonos Platter. To finish, guests can choose from desserts including baklava, Greek yoghurt with honey and pistachio cheesecake, alongside Greek and premium cheese boards.
Beyond the dining experience, Mykonos Dubai has been designed as a lively social destination, with shisha and DJ entertainment adding to the restaurant’s vibrant atmosphere. Bringing together food, music and relaxed Greek-inspired hospitality, the venue offers a setting where guests can settle in and enjoy the experience beyond the table, capturing the energetic and sociable spirit for which Mykonos is known.
