KARACHI: In an inspiring celebration of innovation, technology and youth-driven creativity, The Elixir School and Align STEM Club, in collaboration with Pakistan Academic Consortium (PAC) and Directorate of Inspection & Registration of Private Schools (Government of Sindh), successfully hosted Robothon 2.0, one of the largest Inter School Robotics and AI Competition ever held in Karachi to date.

The event drew an overwhelming response, bringing together 52 schools, 182 teams and 486 participants ranging from primary grades to colleges and universities. The campus of The Elixir School buzzed with energy as young innovators showcased their talents across diverse challenges in robotics, AI, drone technology and engineering design. “Robothon 2.0 was not just a competition; it was a movement to foster critical thinking, problem-solving and STEM literacy among the youth of Pakistan”, stated Bilal Mansoor, President The Elixir School.
The main highlights of the event were Robo War, Arduino Robotics, Drone Competition and Lego Based Robotics. The winners not only grabbed cash prizes but one team also got an opportunity to represent Pakistan at World Robot Olympiad 2025 taking place in the Philippines this year — a monumental achievement for young technologists. “This event embodies our belief in empowering students with 21st century skills. We are glad to see the enthusiasm and ingenuity our young minds have demonstrated. Elixir will continue to pave pathways where learning meets real-world challenges not only for Elixirians, but for everyone seeking knowledge”, said Nasir R. Zaidi, ED/Chairman BOGs of The Elixir School.

Mr. Behroz Noorani, CEO of Align STEM Club, also commented that “through Robothon 2.0, we aimed to create a space where imagination meets innovation. The participation and energy we witnessed have been phenomenal and we are excited to see how these young change makers shape the future of Robotics and STEM in Pakistan.”
The event concluded with a vibrant awards ceremony where trophies and certificates were distributed to the schools representatives and winning teams. Robothon 2.0 indeed proved to be a turning point in Karachi’s educational landscape, setting a new benchmark for technology-based competitions in Pakistan.
Ms. Rafiah Mallah, Additional Director, Directorate of Inspection & Registration of Private Schools (Government of Sindh), graced the occasion as Chief Guest. In her address, she applauded the initiative.
