DUBAI: Flitit.com, a global online marketplace of high-end household items, branded home appliances, branded toys, health and hygiene products, has launched its first physical megastore in Al Barsha, Dubai, due to strong customer demand in the UAE.
Flitit.com, which has more than 25,000 online customers, with over 100,000 branded products. Its product catalogue comprises of toys, gaming products, electronics, beauty products, outdoor, home and kitchen, baby items, perfumes, among many others.
Within the toys, Flitit Megastore stores action toys, arcade games, arts and craft products, education and building toys, dolls and dolhouses, electronic toys, interactive toys, outdoor plays, novelty and collectible toys, etc.
In the household and home appliances, Flitit Megastore has a wide range of collections from different high-end brands – most of them are completely new to the UAE market.
“It is not just a Mega Store but moreover a concept store and an experience zone. We invite our customers to come and experience the wide range of products from different categories – most of which are completely new to this market and are unheard of. Costumers may find many new concept products that they have always been looking for, but couldn’t find elsewhere. It is a Concept Megastore of all these products,” Faisal Durvesh, CEO of Flitit Megastore, says.
“The Megastore offers a glimpse of what we have in the warehouse. It is just an experience zone for us to interact with the customers, and offer them a first-hand glimpse of what Flitit is all about.
“Once we see the consumer response and measure the pulse of the market, we will surely launch bigger stores to come closer to the customers – and create facilities for the customers to experience the products.”
Flitit.com, which traces its origin in Canada, is the brainchild of Faisal Durvesh, an innovative Pakistani-Canadian entrepreneur, who has shifted his based in the UAE due to the growing business opportunities.
Flitit Megastore is one of thousands of new businesses being set up in the UAE every month. As per the Dubai Economy and Tourism statistics, 45,653 new business licenses were issued in the first half of 2022, a growth of 25 percent compared to 36,647 licenses issued in the first half of 2021, which reflects growing business confidence in doing business in Dubai and the UAE.
Flitit Megastore has been officially inaugurated by Her Excellency Laila Rahhal El Atfani, Goodwill Ambassador and the Royal House of Sheba Crown Senator and the Queendom of Sheba Middle-East/Africa Affairs Senate, at a ceremony.
