Mona Metwally joins Rosewood Abu Dhabi as the new Director of Sales and Marketing

Newly appointed Director of Sales and Marketing, Mona Metwally, joins Rosewood Abu Dhabi with more than two decades cross continent career in luxury hospitality, bringing about an impressive wealth of knowledge in brand positioning and profit generation. 

Result oriented and guest centric, Metwally plans to extend an extraordinary level of service to guests and to build on Redwood Abu Dhabi’s market position as a leading luxury lifestyle hotel. She joins the property after having worked in 11 markets within the most prestigious and luxurious brands in the world. A passionate hotelier about growing talents who extends a genuine relationship hospitality. Metwally finds it important to connect with people to understand their needs, to further extend a tailor made and memorable experiences.

Before joining Rosewood Abu Dhabi, Metwally worked at the Six Senses Southern Dunes, The Red Sea. She first launched her hospitality career with Marriott, before moving on to become part of the pre-opening team at the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza.

Among her many achievements, Metwally was the first woman to hold an executive position in KSA as the Director of Sales and Marketing at the InterContinental Al Jubail Resort, where she lead the repositioning the resort into a leading leisure destination.

Metwally was born in Egypt, studied at City University of Seattle in the US where she received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing. She is fluent in Arabic, English and Spanish.
