OMYS organises successful OKHAI YOUTH VENTURE

KARACHI: OKHAI YOUTH VENTURE is a four-Sunday venture filled with a variety of educational and entertaining activities. This journey began on December 19th, 2021, and ended on January 9th, 2022 with so many memories and great experiences. The main goal of this entire endeavor is to focus on the youth in our community. One of the aims of the OKHAI Youth Venture is to help our youth to cultivate their leadership, management, and public speaking skills, as well as a deeper understanding of religious, cultural, and political values, which will help to develop an ethical framework. For four consecutive Sundays, YOUTH VENTURE is one of the most educational and entertaining ventures. Every Sunday, a different theme was assigned, and seminars and training sessions were scheduled by those themes. The event was led by Hashim Vayani under the chairmanship of Abdul Sattar Gatta.

Between the ages of 16 and 23, over 250 people took part in this life-changing experience. The theme for Youth Venture’2 was ZERO TO HERO (Yes You Can), with a different theme for each Sunday. The first Sunday’s theme was khuwab. Mr. Ali Haider, a Day Champ, was in charge of the day. Mr. Waqar Ali, Mr. Hassan Baig, and Mr. Rasheed Gantra, our first Sunday trainers, shared amazing words and thoughts with our participants. The main theme of the day was to encourage participants to set goals and stick to them.

The second day’s theme was tabeer. Urwah Zubair led the day as a day Champ. Our trainers for the second Sunday, Mr. Umair Jaliawala, Mr. Suleiman Asad Kath, and Nisha Rao, encouraged participants to turn their goals and dreams into reality, as well as how to deal with things in reality, and our panelists, Mr. Abu Huraira, Ms. Naqsh Hamdani, Ms. Nimra Nasir, and Ms. Marina Syed, inspired participants by sharing their thoughts and experiences.

The theme of the Third day was Tameer Mr. Faizan Arafat served as the day’s Champ. Our trainers, Mr. Zain Goplani and Mr. Arsal Faheem discussed how to overcome the inner fears that prevent us from achieving our goals. The day was jam-packed with different learning activities.

Takmeel was the theme for the final day. Khadija Khalil and Mr Altaf Vayani served as day champs. Trainers Mr. Ammar Sabzwari and Mr. Asif Ismail Magroria Discussed how important it is to develop entrepreneurial skills in today’s era and also told our participants how to stay focused on their goals while Miss Sorath Kalpana and Miss Hina Ali Discussed that our beliefs and mental Health plays a vital role in our lives and we need to take care of our mental health as well as physical health.

This incredible journey concluded with an emotional note from all PWO team members in which they thanked all participants for their participation as well as all partners, sponsors, and guests for their unwavering support. Overall, the OKHAI YOUTH VENTURE was a resounding success, and the enthusiasm of the participants was overwhelming.
