SHARJAH: On occasion UAE 50th National Day of UAE , a friendly cricket match was organised by World Memon Club League (WMLC) at JMR Sporting Sharjah Stadium, United Arab Emirates. The chief guest this prize distribution Ceremony Mr. H Anis Arfa and Mr. Taufiq Patel organiser of this event and board member of World Memon Club increase the excitement and interest.
The match was played on the pattern of the movie “Lagaan” and the teams were named “Gaowalas” and “The Firangees”, the later won the match by 5 wickets and Lagaan trophy was awarded to (Captain Rassal Sadiq) by the Chief Guest “Honorable Mr H Anis Arfa Asif was judge Man of the Match. In the end, Taufiq Patel, the organiser of the match, thanked the Chief Guest for his patronage.
