DUBAI: Dubai Police and AFSAC (ICAO AVSEC Training Centre) of Tunisia signed an agreement for sharing knowledge and infrastructure at their respective centres to train the police force working at airports.

Maj General Pilot Ahmad Mohammed Bin Thani, Assistant Commander for Seaports & Airports Affairs, Dubai Police, signed the agreement on behalf of Dubai Police, and Asiza Seddik, ASTC Director, International Civil Aviation Organization, signed on behalf of AFSAC.

The agreement was signed at the ongoing Dubai Airport Show.

“Dubai and Tunisia are under the ICAO umbrella. ICAO also requested Dubai Police to make this agreement for sharing knowledge between Tunisia and Dubai,” said Maj General Bin Thani.

Dubai is also looking at signing similar agreements with other countries.

“Dubai has already signed such agreements with Doncaster in the UK and is planning to sign such agreements with other countries, as our training centre is globally known and approved by ICAO,” he said. News Desk
