DUBAI: As United Arab Emirates celebrates The Year of Tolerance; Aditya Birla Education Academy will host the first conclave for educators with an aim at bringing together the UAE’s teaching community – to empower, collaborate and enable them to improve the learning experiences for students.
The event will be held on 13th February, 2019 at BITS Pilani Dubai campus, Dubai International Academic City supported by Futures Abroad. The conclave will feature keynote speeches and two panel discussions: Technology and the Teacher: An era of reckoning; and Skill or Concept, what is more important in a child’s educational journey.
Neerja Birla, Founder & Chairperson, Aditya Birla Education Academy said, “Teachers have the noble responsibility of shaping the minds and igniting the imaginations of future generations. If we want the next generation to evolve, those who impart knowledge must evolve as well. So this event is important to create a dialogue with the teaching community in identifying gaps and look at ways on how we can enrich learning experiences for today’s students.”
Vandana Mahajan, Director, Future Abroad said, “This is a great initiative and underlines UAE’s Year of Tolerance in providing a platform for exchanging ideas and connect with one another for a greater cause – today’s youth. We are seeing great response from the UAE teaching community and look forward to educational transformation and innovation.”
