Arts Council of Pakistan celebrates World Pharmacist Day


KARACHI: Medical and Social Committee of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi with the collaboration of Pharmacy Graduation Association organized “World Pharmacist Day”. This day is very important for every pharmacist as they are the main pillar to treat any human stated by Chairman Sindh Healthcare Commission Dr Tipu Sultan. We are proud that we have thousands of Pharmacists who are ready to serve their country, he added. He congratulated every student and member on this beautiful day.

Chairman of Medical and Healthcare Committee of Arts Council Dr Qaisar Sajjad said that, regarding to doctors pharmacist also play the key role, they have the knowledge about medicines and through their efforts we are getting the right medicines. Dr. Sumbul Shameen, Dean of Dow medical university said that world pharmacy is celebrated since last 8 years and in the present scenario this day is considered as the most important day in pharmacy. Dr. Shouqat Khalid, Dean of Baqai University share his reviews that pharmacy is the profession that promotes every student to take keen interest to have knowledge about this profession. On this occasion Dr. Mehboob, Dr. Tanveer Siddiqui, Dr. Amer Ali and any other share their reviews about this marvelous day. Students also took a keen part in this program as they perform theatre which provide awareness about the responsibilities of pharmacist.

At the end of the day the patron of PGA Dr. Zain-ul-Husnain congratulated and  thanked to all the students and members who participate in this program, present the shields and cut the cake in the memory of “World Pharmacy Day”. At the end of the ceremony all the participants had a walk from Arts Council to Karachi Press Club to aware people about the importance of this day. News Desk
