Dubai International Government Achievements Exhibition on 9th April at DWTC

DUBAI: Under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and in conjunction with the Annual Investment Meeting and Future Cities Show, the General Secretariat of the Executive Council of Dubai, along with one of its key programmes, Dubai Government Excellence Programme (DGEP), is organising the sixth edition of the Dubai International Government Achievements Exhibition (DIGAE), which will take place from April 9-11, 2018 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The exhibition provides participants the opportunity to present their achievements; to benefit from their  distinguished experiences in the field of government work; as well as to view the evaluation of customers directly to their services.

Hazaa Al Nuaimi, Head of Awards and Excellence Initiatives at the DGEP highlighted the importance of the exhibition as a leading international event that attracts government entities from around the world to showcase their key achievements.

“This is a continuation of the success achieved over the past five years and reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to strengthen Dubai’s position as a city of excellence and a global attraction for major international events,” he said.

“We are committed to follow the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, to ensure innovation in government activities. DIGAE is a leading platform for international best practices and one that is instrumental in building relationships with key figures in leading international organisations in the field of public service, as well as one that enhances the values of excellence in government work on the international level.

Since its inception in 2011, DIGAE has been a remarkable development. It has attracted 83 exhibitors from 20 countries, witnessed the signing of several partnerships and cooperation agreements, hosted 36 speakers in seminars and workshops, received 19,129 visitors, and reached visitor satisfaction of 99 percent.”

The sixth edition of DIGAE is expected to see more than 20,000 visitors and provide them the opportunity to witness first-hand the achievements of participants the world over.

Abdullah Al Muhairi, the Project Associate at DGEP, said: “DIGAE presents a number of innovative events that cover various aspects of government activities. The exhibition’s pavilions showcase key achievements, and its activities include: seminars; interactive workshops; a communication platform; as well as specific activities such as Ask the Government Leaders; Innovation Corner; Meeting with Customers; Brainstorming and Dubai Learning Initiative”

Al Muhairi also stressed that the exhibition targets managers of government bodies; heads of departments; consultants of excellence; employees; and clients; and includes experts and consultants in the fields of government administration and sector governance. News Desk
