KARACHI: The Consulate General of Malaysia in Karachi, in collaboration with the Pakistan Malaysia Students Association (PPMP), particularly students from Jamiah Binoria Aalamia, successfully organized an “Engagement Programme with Malaysian Students” aimed at strengthening ties between the Consulate and the Malaysian student community in Pakistan. The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Yasin, followed by addresses from the Student Representative and His Excellency Mr. Herman Hardynata Ahmad, Consul General of Malaysia, who welcomed new students and shared valuable advice as they embark on their academic journey.
During his remarks, the Consul General also informed attendees that he would be concluding his tenure in Karachi at the end of this month. The programme featured the presentation of certificates and prizes, followed by a fellowship gathering and traditional Kelantanese cuisine prepared by the students, including Nasi Kerabu, steamed chocolate cake, and green bean porridge. The event provided a warm platform for interaction among students and Consulate families, further reinforcing the spirit of friendship and community among Malaysians in Pakistan.
