DUBAI: Nissan has introduced the new, sporty Kicks SR to the Middle East, expanding the 2026 Kicks line-up with a new flagship grade that reflects evolving customer expectations across the region. Building on the compact crossover’s strong reception since its regional debut last year, the Kicks SR introduces a more expressive, sport-inspired interior while retaining the practicality, technology, and efficiency that have underpinned the model’s success.
Beyond the introduction of the new SR grade, Nissan has also strengthened the 2026 Kicks with enhanced connectivity. Nissan’s Connected Car Services (CCS) 2.0 is now available on the 2026 Kicks, making it the second model in the region, after the Nissan Patrol, to feature Nissan’s latest connected car technology. Offered in the UAE and KSA across selected grades, CCS 2.0 further enhances the Kicks’ digital capabilities and reinforces its position as a technologically advanced compact crossover. Accessible through the MyNissan mobile app, the system enables remote access to key vehicle information and selected functions, enhancing convenience, control, and peace of mind throughout the ownership experience.

Thierry Sabbagh, Divisional Vice President and President, Middle East, KSA, India and CIS, Nissan and INFINITI, said: “The compact crossover segment continues to see strong momentum across the Middle East, driven by customers seeking distinctive design, advanced technology, and everyday versatility. At Nissan, we are committed to evolving our line-up to meet these expectations. The introduction of the new Kicks SR, alongside the expansion of NissanConnect CCS 2.0, reflects our focus on delivering greater sportiness, enhanced connectivity, and meaningful innovation that elevates the ownership experience for our customers across the region.”
Inside, the Kicks SR is distinguished by a sport-inspired cabin that sets it apart within the line-up. Charcoal leatherette seats with SR sport cloth inserts are paired with contrast stitching across the seats, door trims, and center console. A soft-touch padded instrument panel, finished with a carbon fiber-style texture, reinforces the SR’s athletic and driver-focused character. A D-shaped leather-wrapped steering wheel and thoughtfully positioned controls contribute to a cockpit layout designed for intuitive and confident driving.
Comfort remains a priority across the Kicks line-up, with Nissan’s Zero Gravity™ seating designed to help reduce fatigue on longer journeys and best-in-class rear space offering added room for passengers. An available panoramic moonroof brings natural light into the cabin, while ambient LED lighting enhances the interior atmosphere.
The Kicks features dual 12.3-inch displays, providing clear access to vehicle information and infotainment functions. Elevating the in-cabin audio experience, the Bose® sound system delivers crisp, lifelike sound through 10 speakers, including headrest-mounted speakers for both the driver and front passenger. Wireless Apple CarPlay® and wireless Android Auto™ further enhance convenience with seamless smartphone integration.
Continuing the bold exterior design language of the Kicks, the 2026 line features sharp lines and a purposeful stance. LED projector headlamps enhance nighttime visibility, while LED daytime running lights and available 19-inch alloy wheels contribute to its strong road presence.
Powering the 2026 Nissan Kicks is a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine producing 142 horsepower and 190 Nm of torque, paired with Nissan’s Xtronic CVT transmission. Three drive modes (Sport, Eco, and Normal) enable drivers to tailor performance to different conditions, while ProPILOT assists with steering, acceleration, and braking in certain highway driving situations.
Driver confidence is supported by a comprehensive suite of safety and assistance technologies, including Lane Departure Prevention, Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Automatic Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Front Parking Sensors. The available 3D Around View Monitor provides a virtual 360-degree view around the vehicle, supporting easier parking and low-speed maneuvering.
The complete 2026 Nissan Kicks line-up, including the SV, SV+, SL, and the new sport-oriented SR grade, is now available across Nissan’s partner network in the Middle East. The range is offered in fifteen exterior color options, including six dual-tone combinations, providing greater opportunities for personalization and enabling owners to select a specification that reflects their individual style
