KARACHI: Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi proudly announces that two faculty members from its School of Visual and Performing Arts (SOVAPA), Mohsin Ali and Alamzaib Khan, have been selected for an advanced professional training program in Germany with the support of the Goethe-Institute. This achievement reflects the Arts Council’s ongoing commitment to enhancing professional capacity, promoting international collaboration, advancing technical expertise, and strengthening Pakistan’s cultural sector through meaningful global engagement. As part of this prestigious opportunity, Mohsin Ali and Alamzaib Khan have been selected for a one-month residency and training program at Münchner Kammerspiele in Munich, Germany.
During the residency, Mohsin Ali will receive advanced training in Sound Design, while Alamzaib Khan will specialize in Lighting Design.
The program will provide both participants with valuable exposure to contemporary production practices and cutting-edge technical methodologies within a world-class artistic environment. Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi congratulates Mohsin Ali and Alamzaib Khan on this significant achievement and extends its best wishes for a successful, enriching, and memorable residency experience in Germany.
