KARACHI: On 16th May, a remarkable and emotionally uplifting event, the Star Chef Cooking Competition, was successfully held at the Russian Centre for Science and Culture, Karachi, bringing together differently-abled children to showcase their culinary talent, creativity, and confidence.

The event was organized by Hooriezeh Care and Memon Zaiqa, under the leadership of Aisha Fayyaz, Chairperson Hooriezeh Care. The initiative aimed to promote inclusion, empowerment, and skill development among special children through positive and engaging platforms.

A special tribute segment was dedicated to Mother’s Day, honoring the unconditional love, dedication, and sacrifices of mothers who continuously support and empower their children at every step of life. The celebration added emotional depth and warmth to the entire event.

A key highlight of the occasion was the crowning ceremony of the Memon Zaiqa Chef, recognizing excellence in culinary skills and contribution toward promoting traditional and cultural cuisine.
The event was graced by distinguished honorable guests, including: Mehwish Parekh, Yasmeen Hashmani, Aneela Ansari, Aamir Roger Bhatti and Nikita V. Kosiakov.
Their presence encouraged the participants and highlighted the importance of inclusive initiatives that celebrate ability, confidence, and community support.
