KARACHI: Karachi Women Entrepreneurs by Shama Rashid Celebrated Bint-e-Pakistan Awards Season 5 on the Occasion of International Women’s Day 2026.
The Bint-e-Pakistan Awards Season 5 was successfully organized by Karachi Women Entrepreneurs under the leadership of Founding President Shama Rashid on 22nd April, 2026 at Quaid-e-Azam House, Karachi.
The event commenced with Tilawat-e-Quraan-e-Pak, Hamd, and the National Anthem, setting a respectful and inspiring tone for the ceremony. The event was gracefully hosted by Ayesha Noman.
In her address, Shama Rashid congratulated all members and appreciated the awardees who had traveled from across the country. She highlighted the challenges faced by women and shared the vision of Karachi Women Entrepreneurs for empowering women nationwide.
A Women Summit was also a key part of the event, moderated by Irum Fawad, where prominent panelists including Shama Rashid, Khursheed Hyder, Sultana Shamshal, Ammara Umair, and Sadaf Altaf Lohya shared their success journeys and answered questions from the audience.
The Chief Guest, Muhammad Irfan Soomro (DG, Ministry of Foreign Affairs), graced the occasion. In his speech, he emphasized the vital role of women in Pakistan’s development and cited inspiring examples from Hazrat Khadija (RA), Fatima Jinnah, and Benazir Bhutto.

Dr. Bilquis Sheikh, Mehwish Jahangir Sachwani, Chef Nazia Qaiser (Special – Deaf), Fatima Lodhi, Chef Komal Ahmer, Dr. Nausheen Butt, Irum Fawad, Perveen Aslam Imdad, Nissa Chaudhary, Misbha Mujeeb, Nadia Saleem, Fauzia Khan, Komal Nayab, Ammara Umair, Sarwat Siddiqui, Fabiha Fatima, Faiza Siddiqui, Sabika Sanaullah, Syeda Zehra Asghar, Sabahat Bukhari, Khursheed Hyder, Nuzhatt Abid Jaffri, Chef Ayesha Noman, Sadaf Altaf Lohya, and Fariha Azmat.
A Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Sultana Shamshal in recognition of her remarkable contributions.
The event also featured Special Guest Appearances by Rafiq Vayani, Executive Editor, Biz Today International, Zahid Karani, Turab Shah and Ayaz Awan,
The ceremony concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony, followed by hi-tea for all guests. At the end, Shama Rashid expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all guests, participants, media representatives, TV channels, newspapers, and journalists for their tremendous support and coverage.
