KARACHI: Tourism Malaysia successfully concluded its participation at Pakistan Travel Mart 2026 (PTM 2026) at the Karachi Expo Centre, reaffirming Malaysia’s strong commitment to strengthening tourism cooperation with Pakistan and expanding engagement with key travel trade stakeholders. Over the three-day exhibition, the Malaysia Pavilion attracted significant interest from industry partners, media representatives, and consumers through productive business meetings, destination briefings, and collaborative discussions focused on enhancing travel flows to Malaysia in support of Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026). The active presence of senior Tourism Malaysia leadership further reflected the importance of the Pakistan market within Malaysia’s regional tourism strategy.

Tourism Malaysia’s participation at PTM 2026 provided a valuable platform to promote Malaysia’s diverse tourism offerings, strengthen distribution partnerships, and showcase its multicultural heritage through vibrant cultural performances that enriched the exhibition experience. The strong response received from trade visitors and consumers alike reinforces Malaysia’s positioning as a preferred destination for Pakistani travellers. Building on this positive momentum, Tourism Malaysia looks forward to continuing its engagement with partners during the upcoming Islamabad Roadshow on 7–8 April 2026, further advancing bilateral tourism collaboration and supporting future growth opportunities between the two countries.
