KARACHI: In the presence of His Excellency Mr. Herman Hardynata Ahmad, Consul General of Malaysia in Karachi, the Iftar gathering with the Malaysian diaspora, Friends of Malaysia, HBS and LRS at the Consulate General of Malaysia in Karachi on Friday was a heartwarming evening of unity, gratitude and togetherness, truly embodying the spirit of Ramadan. The total number of guests, including HBS and LRS, was 100 pax.
PERWAKILAN Karachi was honoured to prepare bubur lambuk and distribute it to Muslim Consulates and ASEAN Consulates in Karachi. In addition, PERWAKILAN prepared a sumptuous iftar spread which included nasi putih with ayam sambal, ikan bilis, mixed vegetables, and a delightful selection of desserts and snacks such as pengat pisang, donuts, popia, and kuih bom.
Following the Maghrib and Tarawih prayers, bubur lambuk was served, allowing guests to continue the evening in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere.
The Consulate General of Malaysia extends its heartfelt appreciation to PERWAKILAN Karachi and all attendees for their support and participation.
May the unity, warmth and spirit of togetherness experienced during this blessed month continue to strengthen our community ties well beyond Ramadan.
