DUBAI: Ms. Rihaab Mowlana, Psychology Educator, Editor, and Co-Founder of Dream Team Studio & Colombo Dream School, addressed an interactive session hosted by the Rotaract Colombo North, where she spoke on the topic “Ambitious, Anxious, and Always On: Women’s Mental Health in Early Adulthood.” During her talk, she shared that the subject is deeply personal to her, reflecting on the pressures she has experienced in her own professional journey balancing ambition with societal expectations about how women should behave, succeed, and present themselves in the workplace and in society.

Ms. Mowlana emphasized that conversations around women’s mental health should not turn into a debate of men versus women. Instead, meaningful progress can only happen through mutual understanding, empathy, and support. She appreciated the participants for their active engagement, noting that their openness in sharing personal experiences and asking thoughtful questions made the session even more impactful. She also expressed gratitude to Rotaract Colombo North for creating a space that encouraged honest dialogue on an important issue affecting young women today.
