KARACHI: Following the devastating fire that struck the Gul Plaza shopping center last weekend, the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Karachi expresses its heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the bereaved families, the people of Karachi affected by this disaster, as well as to the Government of Sindh and the City of Karachi.
This tragedy, which resulted in the loss of many lives, is a collective grief for the Pakistan nation, particularly for the people of Karachi. The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia pays a special tribute to the Karachi firefighters who gallantly made the ultimate sacrifice to save others amidst the flames.
“Our hearts and prayers go out to the families who lost their loved ones in this heartbreaking incident at Gul Plaza. While no words can ease this profound sorrow, we stand in firm solidarity with them,” stated Mudzakir, the Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia. “We also pray for the swift and full recovery of those currently undergoing medical treatment for their injuries.”
