19th Food Asia International Exhibition & Conference 2026 Inaugurated in Karachi

KARACHI: Pakistan’s premier food and hospitality event, the 19th Food Asia International Exhibition & Conference 2026, was formally inaugurated today at the Karachi Expo Centre, Halls 1 & 2, where it will continue from 10–12 January 2026.

The prestigious inauguration ceremony was graced by Honorable Syed Nasir Hussain Shah Rizvi, Minister for Local Government, Government of Sindh, as the Chief Guest, reflecting strong governmental support for the growth and modernization of Pakistan’s food and hospitality sectors.

Organized by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd., and strategically supported by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and the Government of Sindh, Food Asia 2026 serves as a vital platform to promote food security, innovation, export development, value addition, and sustainable trade growth.

While inaugurating the exhibition, Honorable Syed Nasir Hussain Shah Rizvi emphasized the critical role of Food Asia in strengthening Pakistan’s economy. He stated that exhibitions like Food Asia are essential for connecting local industries with international markets, encouraging foreign investment, promoting food safety standards, and supporting small and medium enterprises. He further highlighted that the Government of Sindh fully supports initiatives that enhance exports, create employment opportunities, and introduce modern technologies to Pakistan’s food and agriculture sectors.

The exhibition brings together manufacturers, exporters, policymakers, chefs, trade professionals, and international buyers under one roof, fostering meaningful business networking and knowledge exchange.
