KARACHI: In a landmark step towards sustainability and environmental protection, the Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hoora Pharma to plant 100,000 trees across Pakistan.
The MoU was signed by Junaid Naqi Allahwala, President of KATI, and Abdul Rasheed Chohan, President & CEO of Hoora Pharma, marking a significant collaboration to combat climate change, promote green initiatives, and contribute to a healthier environment for future generations.

Speaking on the occasion, President KATI Junaid Naqi Allahwala highlighted that this initiative is part of KATI’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and climate action. He added that partnerships like these reflect the shared responsibility of industry and private sector stakeholders in building a sustainable Pakistan.

Abdul Rasheed Chohan, President & CEO of Hoora Pharma, reiterated his company’s dedication to environmental stewardship and social welfare, stating that this tree plantation drive will not only improve ecological balance but also inspire other organizations to take part in green initiatives.

This joint effort between KATI and Hoora Pharma underscores the importance of collective action in addressing climate challenges and creating a greener, healthier, and more sustainable Pakistan.
