MASA & WMO Middle East Presidents Strengthen Collaboration Ahead of WMO International AGM

DUBAI: MASA President Mr. Wassim Abdul Razzak held a fruitful meeting with Mr. Kamran Ghani, President of the WMO Middle East Chapter at Park Regis Hotel, Business Bay, Dubai.

The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between MASA and WMO through a potential bilateral agreement, with the aim of enhancing community development initiatives and exploring new avenues of cooperation.

A key highlight of the discussion was the upcoming WMO International AGM, scheduled from 6th to 9th November 2025 at the InterContinental Jeddah. Both Presidents reviewed preparations and emphasized the importance of global participation to make the AGM a landmark event.

Also present during the meeting were Mr. Afzal Allah Rakha, Mr. Gulam Mohamed Iqbal, and Mr. Aneel Ameen, who contributed valuable insights and extended their support to further strengthen this collaboration.

This meeting marks an important step towards fostering stronger ties and joint initiatives that will benefit the wider community across regions.
