Chairman Saddar Town, Mansoor Ahmed Shaikh, along with Municipal Commissioner Noor Hassan Jokhio and a team of officials, conducted an emergency inspection of various areas to review the drainage and road clearance work after the evening rain. Due to prior instructions from Chairman Shaikh, the Saddar Town administration had already declared a high alert rain emergency, mobilizing staff immediately after the rain started.
During the visit, Mansoor Ahmed shaikh directed all officials and employees to remain fully active during the rain emergency to promptly handle any situation. He also instructed that the complaint center remain operational 24/7. Given the forecast of more rain, the rain emergency will continue in Saddar Town .Mansoor Ahmed shaikh stated that he is monitoring the drainage work to prevent potential damage from rain, ensure timely drainage, and address public complaints. An emergency control room has been established (99211429, 99211390) to take prompt action on complaints and provide immediate relief. The center is equipped with sanitation, sewage, parks, building and road, and mechanical and electrical staff, along with necessary equipment like open trucks, tractors, dewatering pumps, and cesspool machines.
