KARACHI: Chairman Sadar Town Mansoor Ahmed Sheikh said that Pakistan will celebrate its 78th Independence Day with great fervor and enthusiasm throughout Sadar Town, just like the rest of Pakistan. Mansoor Ahmed Sheikh emphasized that Independence Day reminds us of the importance of maintaining our national unity and solidarity.
Chairman Sadar Town Mansoor Ahmed Sheikh stated that the cowardly enemy, India, had launched an attack on Pakistan under the cover of darkness on May 6, 2025, repeating its history. However, our brave armed forces defeated the enemy, which was several times larger. Due to this, Independence Day will be celebrated this time with even more national spirit and enthusiasm.
In this connection, various events are being organized from August 1 to August 14 to celebrate Independence Day. Sadar Town administration will hold flag-hoisting ceremonies at various locations, decorate roads with colorful electric lights, and organize sports galas, cultural events, fireworks, national song competitions, and public programs.
Additionally, speech competitions, painting competitions, national song competitions, and tableau shows will be organized among students of schools. Moreover, all parks in Sadar Town are being decorated with beautiful lights. Special measures are being taken to ensure cleanliness, security, traffic management, and park maintenance, as well as to activate children’s swings and enhance beauty, so that citizens can celebrate the Independence Day with national spirit and enthusiasm.
