DUBAI: The NEOM Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Eng. Aiman Al-Mudaifer as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Managing Director, and Board Member. The announcement marks a key milestone for the ambitious $500 billion mega-development in northwest Saudi Arabia, which is a flagship project of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
Eng. Al-Mudaifer has been serving as NEOM’s Acting CEO since November 2024, during which time he has played a pivotal role in maintaining operational momentum, enhancing internal efficiencies, and accelerating progress across NEOM’s diverse portfolio of strategic projects and regional developments.
With a strong track record spanning both public and private sectors, Al-Mudaifer brings deep expertise in real estate, infrastructure, and investment. Since 2018, he has led the Local Real Estate Investment Division at the Public Investment Fund (PIF), where he oversaw transformational growth and development. In addition to his executive roles, Al-Mudaifer serves on the boards of several key PIF portfolio companies, further strengthening his leadership credentials.
His appointment is expected to inject renewed focus and continuity into NEOM’s next phase of growth, as the giga-project continues to break ground on key components such as THE LINE, Oxagon, Trojena, and Sindalah.
In a statement, the NEOM Board expressed confidence in the leadership team, noting that Al-Mudaifer is well-positioned to steer the project into its next era of execution and delivery.
