DUBAI: Turkish Airlines, the airline that flies to more countries than any other, premiered a captivating new promotional film in collaboration with renowned Turkish actor Burak Özçivit at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025.
The film begins with a couple flying Turkish Airlines for the first time, delighted by award-winning meals, advanced in-flight entertainment, and exceptional comfort. Describing their experience as “legendary,” they catch the attention of fellow passenger Burak Özçivit, who offers to share one of Istanbul’s most beloved legends.
Through Burak Özçivit’s compelling narration, viewers embark on a mesmerizing journey back in time. The narrative follows a king ruling ancient Istanbul, determined to protect his daughter from a prophecy predicting she will be poisoned by a snake. After searching tirelessly through palaces, castles, and cisterns, the king ultimately constructs the iconic Maiden’s Tower in the Bosphorus, symbolizing his quest to ensure her safety. This legendary structure has been the subject of different stories for centuries, and it continues to exist as one of the most important symbols of Istanbul.
Expanding beyond this timeless tale, Turkish Airlines further deepens this legendary narrative by inviting audiences to explore Türkiye’s other UNESCO World Heritage List. Burak Özçivit highlights remarkable destinations such as Göbeklitepe, Ephesus, Cappadocia, Mount Nemrut and Pamukkale.
Commenting on the film premiere, Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee, Prof. Ahmet Bolat stated: “As the national flag carrier, we are proud to showcase Türkiye’s rich cultural heritage and exceptional hospitality through this film. By integrating our acclaimed services and the legendary stories of our country in this captivating video, we connect deeply with passengers who share our passion for extraordinary journeys.”
The film concludes elegantly with the message ‘Discover the legends of Türkiye with Turkish Airlines’ accompanied by Istanbul’s skyline. To ensure broad international appeal, Burak Özçivit’s narration has been seamlessly translated into English and Arabic.
