ISLAMABAD: Vocational education and training are among the most essential pillars of the Swiss economy. To further extend the footprints of Swiss values in vocational education and training in Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Georg Steiner, Ambassador of Switzerland in Pakistan, hosted the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between the Swiss Business Council (an umbrella organization of Swiss companies in Pakistan) and the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) of Pakistan.
The MoU was signed by Ms Hafsa Shamsie, President of the Swiss Business Council (SBC) and Managing Director of Roche Pakistan, and Mr Muhammad Aamir Jan, Executive Director of NAVTTC. The MoU will promote and enhance collaboration between SBC through its member companies and NAVTTC to facilitate technical skills training initiatives for youth in Pakistan.
