DUBAI/KARACHI: An Indonesian delegate of 12 business Person from various lines of business are participating in the annual Consumer Product Expo in Karachi, 12-15 December 2024.
The delegates are exhibiting at the Indonesian Pavilion located at the centre of the Hall 5 of the KarachiExpoCentre. Situated at around 60 squaremetre, the Pavilion offers business opportunities for Pakistani agents, distributors and importers of such Indonesian products as: tea, coffee, soap, food and beverages, snacks. The agricultural products are also part of main attraction in the Pavilion, for example: ginger, potatoes, coral gum, and many others.
Indonesian Acting Consul General, Teguh Wiweko, appreciated the commitment and determination of the Indonesian business delegate who visits Karachi and explores the potentials of the Pakistani market.
“We have to admit that there has been gap of communication and less interaction between our two communities. Indonesia is only known for its CPO (palm oil) in Pakistan. Indeed, we have more than that,” stresed Mr. Wiweko. He is convinced the expo will be able to promote greater trade cooperation between the two countries.
In the same occasion, Dr. Ahmad Syofian, Consul for Economic Affairs, highlighted that the Indonesian government supports the participation of the delegates at the Expo. “This is a breakthrough in our effort to increase business engagement between Indonesia and Pakistan. Let”s wait for fruitful result of the expo,” continued Syofian.
