International Chefs Day is celebrated worldwide every year on October 20th by world association of chef society (WACS) to recognize and appreciate the dedication, creativity, and valuable contributions of culinary professionals.
The day aims to highlight the importance of the culinary profession, acknowledge the achievements of chefs, and inspire the younger generation to pursue careers in the culinary arts. In this connection the Chefs Association of Pakistan (CAP) THE ONLY NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED ASSOCIATION OF PAKISTAN IN COLLABORATION WITH COTHM organized a grand celebration of International Chefs Day 2026 IN 20+ LOCATION NATIONWIDE IN WHICH Karachi IS AMONG THEM.. The event brought together renowned chefs, hospitality industry professionals, culinary educators, students, distinguished guests, and representatives from various sectors.
The ceremony commenced with the arrival of guests, who were warmly welcomed by the COTHM & CAP team. This was followed by a special Chef Walk, symbolizing unity, professional pride, and the dedication of chefs to the culinary industry.

The opening session highlighted the significance and objectives of International Chefs Day, followed by a special message from the President of World chefs. The event sponsors were also introduced and acknowledged for their valuable support. Subsequently, Mr. Sabir Ahmed, Director of COTHM Karachi, delivered the welcome address, extending his appreciation to the distinguished guests and emphasizing the importance of professional culinary education, skills development, and creating opportunities for aspiring chefs in Pakistan.
The event was further enhanced by the participation of renowned actor Ayaz Khan, whose presence added excitement to the celebration. An engaging lucky draw and interactive question-and-answer session were also arranged for the participants.
Towards the conclusion of the ceremony, souvenirs were distributed among CELEBRITY CHEFS, CHEF TRAINERS and industry chefs in appreciation of their dedication and contributions to the profession. A special cake-cutting ceremony was held to mark International Chefs Day 2026, bringing together participants in a spirit of celebration, unity, and professional pride.
