JBS to become Mercantile’s Preferred Partner for Enterprise in Pakistan, expanding access to Apple technology and supporting Pakistan’s digital economy

KARACHI: Jaffer Business Systems (JBS) and Mercantile have announced a strategic partnership to make official Apple products more accessible to businesses across Pakistan. By enabling organizations to adopt apple products with local support, the partnership will contribute to building AI native organizations and power growth within Pakistan’s technology ecosystem.
As Mercantile’s Preferred Partner for Enterprise, JBS will add Apple products to its compute portfolio, extending its offering from data centers and infrastructure to workplace and handheld devices. The partnership goes beyond device distribution by giving Pakistani enterprises a structured route to adopt, manage and support global workplace technology within their existing workplace and IT environments.

The partnership will allow organizations to work with JBS beyond the point of purchase, with support across deployment, device management, ongoing service, and the wider lifecycle of their Apple estate. For the first time, this also extends JBS’s portfolio into handheld devices, helping connect the devices people use every day with the wider technology environment behind them.
The offering will include support for Apple Business, Automated Device Enrolment, Managed Apple Accounts, device management guidance, and access to warranty and after-sales services through Mercantile and Mercantile Care. Enterprise adoption through an authorised ecosystem also means greater confidence around authenticity, warranty, deployment and after-sales support, all of which are important when organisations are investing at scale.
Speaking on the partnership, Veqar ul Islam, CEO JBS said, “As AI data centers continue to evolve and intelligence moves closer to everyday devices, JBS is completing its compute story, extending from data centers and infrastructure to the devices people use every day. Pakistan has made AI a national priority, and AI-native organizations need more than models; they need secure infrastructure, managed endpoints, trained people and governed access to technology. With our strong presence across Windows platforms and now the addition of the Apple ecosystem through our partnership with Mercantile, the partnership gives customers a trusted route across both Windows and Apple platforms. From infrastructure and enterprise applications to AI-driven solutions, this expanded ecosystem allows us to better support customers across their technology needs. By connecting devices, infrastructure, and intelligence, we are helping build AI native organizations in Pakistan.”
Nauman Durrani, CEO Pakistan, SVP SAGE Mercantile added, “Mercantile is committed to strengthening authorized access, service confidence, and enterprise adoption of Apple products in Pakistan. By partnering with JBS as our enterprise partner, we are bringing together Mercantile’s authorized Apple ecosystem with JBS’s experience of working with complex enterprise technology environments. Together, we look forward to helping organizations adopt Apple products with greater confidence.”
For enterprise customers, this creates a more structured path to adopting Apple technology at scale, while ensuring devices remain easy to manage, support, and maintain over time. Pakistan’s IT exports are now around US$4.6 billion, and sustaining that trajectory requires Pakistani businesses themselves to have access to the same enterprise technology environments as their global competitors. This partnership will help businesses access modern workplace and handheld devices alongside the infrastructure and technology they rely on, helping improve productivity, accelerate digital adoption, and contribute to the growth of Pakistan’s digital economy.
