DUBAI: Union Coop has recorded a 105% increase in subscribers to its Union Coop Unlimited program over the past two months, reflecting strong customer demand for its digital shopping benefits and value-added services. The program is first of its kind for an omni-channel grocery retailer.
Mr. Mohamed Al Hashemi, CEO of Union Coop, said the growth demonstrates rising customer confidence in the program, which was designed to offer greater convenience, flexibility, and savings.
He said: “The 105% increase in subscribers within two months highlights the success of Union Coop Unlimited in delivering genuine value to customers. The program offers an additional 2% discount on purchases, unlimited free delivery through the Union Coop smart application, and flexible subscription options suited to different customer needs.”
Al Hashemi added that the number of customers using Union Coop’s smart application and website has grown by 100% over the past two years, reflecting the continued shift towards digital shopping.
He affirmed that Union Coop will continue enhancing its digital and e-commerce services, while introducing new benefits aimed at improving the customer experience and strengthening its position as a leading smart retail organisation in the UAE.
