The findings show that many drivers continue to delay essential maintenance, increasing the risk of breakdowns, reduced vehicle performance and costly repairs. According to Service My Car, the most frequently observed maintenance issues are delayed oil changes, ignored dashboard warning lights, skipped air conditioning servicing and driving on worn tyres.

Excessive wear can reduce grip, extend braking distances and increase the likelihood of tyre failure, particularly during the UAE’s hot summer months. Regular tyre inspections and timely replacements are essential to maintaining safe driving conditions.
