Quality Opportunities for National Talent… “National Service Career Fair” Returns This July
DUBAI: As July approaches, the United Arab Emirates is preparing to host the ninth edition of the National Service Career Fair, one of the leading specialised events dedicated to attracting national talent and connecting them with quality employment opportunities. The exhibition will take place at the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) in Expo City, Dubai, from 15 to 17 July.
The exhibition continues to reinforce its position as a leading platform that brings together ambitious talent and employers within an interactive environment that keeps pace with developments in the labour market. It will feature the participation of several government and private sector entities representing more than 10 vital sectors, in addition to more than 9 universities and academic institutions.
The exhibition is being held at a time when the United Arab Emirates continues to strengthen its position as a global model for development and stability, supported by the vision of its wise leadership, which has successfully built a diversified and competitive economy capable of adapting to change by transforming challenges into opportunities and fostering an advanced business environment that supports innovation and sustainability across various sectors.
In this context, increasing attention is being placed on developing the employment landscape and enhancing the readiness of Emirati talent, alongside growing demand for specialised skills. The exhibition serves as a strategic platform for recruits and National Service graduates to explore new career pathways and engage directly with leading institutions across various sectors, enhancing their readiness to enter the labour market with confidence and competence.
The exhibition is organised as part of the efforts of the National Service and Reserve Authority (NSRA) to achieve integration between the outcomes of National Service and the needs of different sectors by leveraging the values of discipline, commitment, and responsibility acquired by recruits and transforming them into successful and sustainable career pathways. The exhibition aims to support the development of a talent-driven national economy and strengthen Emiratisation policies by providing quality employment opportunities that align with the aspirations of graduates and recruits while supporting social and economic stability. This is in line with the vision of the leadership of the United Arab Emirates to empower the nation’s citizens and enhance their active participation in the country’s comprehensive development journey.
This year, the exhibition is expected to attract more than 55 exhibitors from various sectors and more than 20,000 participants from the National Service programme, including both young men and women. The exhibition provides recruits with opportunities to engage directly with employers, conduct on-the-spot interviews, and benefit from guidance sessions delivered by human resources experts. It also offers companies an ideal platform to identify Emirati talent and build databases that support future recruitment plans.
The National Service Career Fair is regarded as one of the most prominent annual national events anticipated by participants in the National Service programme, both young men and women. It contributes to strengthening the spirit of belonging and dedication to work while demonstrating the country’s continued commitment to preparing and empowering its citizens. Through its national role, the exhibition highlights the important contribution of the nation’s youth to supporting security and stability and reflects their position as key partners in the development and prosperity witnessed by the United Arab Emirates. It also underscores that National Service recruits represent an important pillar in building the future through the experience, values, and capabilities that enhance their readiness to contribute across various fields of work.
The National Service Career Fair is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Defence, represented by the National Service and Reserve Authority (NSRA), and is organised by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions, a member of INDEX Holding. The event is supported and sponsored by: INDEX Media, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc), Edge, Kalba University, University of Al Dhaid, Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), Bin Hammouda Group and Salt Recruitment.
