Sakan-e-Sheza Trust Holds Annual General Meeting and Launches “ Empowerment” Project

KARACHI: Sakan-e-Sheza Trust successfully held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and officially launched the “FAME” project at Sakan-e-Sheza head office in Karachi. The initiative aims to empower women, improve their economic and social well-being, and provide them with access to opportunities for a better future.

Speaking at the event, Chairman erum Saaim Tasleem stated that women constitute a significant portion of the population and play a vital role in national development. She emphasized that empowering women is essential for building a stronger and more progressive society. She further highlighted that the “FAME” project is designed to support women in becoming financially independent, socially confident, and active contributors to their communities.

The project is particularly focused on women who face social and economic challenges. Through skill development, awareness programs, and support services, the initiative seeks to create opportunities that enhance women’s quality of life and enable them to participate more effectively in society.

Several distinguished social workers and community leaders attended the ceremony and appreciated Sakan-e-Sheza Trust’s efforts for women’s welfare and empowerment. They acknowledged the organization’s commitment in creating positive social change and supporting marginalized communities.

During the event, newly elected members of Sakan-e-Sheza Trust also took the oath. The ceremony concluded with remarks from participants who praised the Trust’s continued dedication to social development and women’s empowerment.
