KARACHI: Rotary International District 3271 will commence the Rotary Year 2026–27 with a dignified Wreath Laying Ceremony at Mazar-e-Quaid, Karachi, on 1 July 2026, paying tribute to the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The ceremony will bring together Rotary Club Presidents, Secretaries, and Rotarians from across the district in a collective expression of respect, patriotism, and commitment to service above self. District Governor 2026–27, Shahzad Sabir, will lead the ceremony, which symbolizes Rotary’s dedication to the values of unity, leadership, and nation-building.
The event will begin with fellowship at 7:30 AM, followed by the wreath laying ceremony at 8:00 AM at Mazar-e-Quaid. A breakfast gathering will subsequently be hosted at Services Mess, Karachi, under the auspices of the Rotary Club of Karachi Bay. Organized under the leadership of District Promotion Chair Yumna Atiq, the occasion aims to inspire Rotarians to begin the new Rotary year with renewed purpose, honoring the enduring legacy of Quaid-e-Azam and reaffirming Rotary’s mission of creating lasting impact in communities across Pakistan.
