
Upon arrival, the Consul was received by the leadership of SICHN and was given a guided tour of the hospital’s key clinical facilities.
A key feature of the visit was the inauguration of newly acquired no. 22 ventilators from the Italian company: “SIARE”, which will significantly enhance the hospital’s critical care capacity and further strengthen the delivery of life-saving services. The Consul appreciated the efforts being undertaken by SICHN to improve pediatric healthcare infrastructure and acknowledged the impact these advanced medical devices would have on patient care.
During the discussions, His Excellency expressed his strong support for SICHN and assured the institution of his continued assistance in future initiatives. He encouraged SICHN to identify reputable Italian companies specializing in medical technologies and equipment, assuring the leadership that he would facilitate connections and support efforts to acquire high-quality healthcare equipment from Italy.
Dr. Jamal Raza and Dr. Rehan informed the Consul General of SICHN’s interest in visiting Italy to engage with potential healthcare and medical equipment partners. In response, the Consul, Fabrizio Bielli welcomed the initiative and reiterated his willingness to assist in establishing direct communication with relevant Italian organizations and companies.
The discussion also explored opportunities for professional exchange and capacity building.
The Consul was also introduced to the contributions of Italian companies, Chiesi and Siare, two leading Italian healthcare companies that have supported healthcare development initiatives. Their role in advancing medical technology and healthcare solutions was highlighted during the visit.
