KARACHI: The Uzbekistan & C.I.S. Trade Center (UCTC) hosted a distinguished dinner reception in honour of H.E. Mr. Zoir Toirovich Mirzaev, Governor of the Navoiy Region, who is currently leading a high-level delegation on an official visit to Karachi. The reception was organized by Mr. Sohail Moten, Chairman of UCTC, on April 30, 2026, at the House of Uzbekistan, DHA Phase 6, bringing together prominent members of the business community, diplomats, and key stakeholders to promote bilateral trade and economic collaboration.
The event featured a welcome address by Mr. Zubair Motiwala, Chairman Businessmen Group, while H.E. Alisher Tukhtaev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the strengthening of diplomatic and economic ties between the two countries. The program was coordinated under the leadership of Ms. Nida Aman, Secretary General of UCTC, reflecting the organization’s continued commitment to fostering regional cooperation and creating new opportunities for trade, investment, and partnership.
