HOUSTON: The Global Ismaili Health Professionals Conference continued with a full day of scientific exchange, leadership dialogue, and professional collaboration.
Dr. Fatima Boricha and fellow researchers shared oral abstracts and poster presentations highlighting emerging topics in healthcare research. Engaging sessions by speakers including Dr. Jin Xiao explored oral health, primary care redesign, climate-resilient health systems, and leadership across disciplines.

The Keynote program featured a Distinguished Leadership Lecture by Dr. Sulaiman Shahabuddin of the Aga Khan University and a Distinguished Cardiovascular Lecture by Dr. Salim Virani of Baylor College of Medicine, underscoring thought leadership at the forefront of global health and research. Additional sessions across clinical, academic, and systems-focused themes explored innovation, impact, and the evolving future of care delivery.
Throughout the program, attendees engaged in meaningful dialogue, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities that strengthened connections across regions and professions, reinforcing a shared commitment to service and excellence.
