RIYADH/DUBAI: The National Museum of Saudi Arabia, located in the King Abdulaziz Historical Center, is marking Saudi Founding Day and the holy month of Ramadan with a new public program, “Memory of the Home,” running from 19 February to 6 March 2026, from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Throughout the program, the National Museum becomes a shared cultural destination, offering visitors immersive experiences that connect past and present.

The program unfolds across two main themes:
- Founding Day (19–22 February), which highlights the legacy of the First Saudi State and the values that have shaped the Kingdom’s identity over the past three centuries.
- Ramadan Nights (19 February–6 March), which evokes the atmosphere of the holy month through cultural programming that enhances social connection and celebrates authentic heritage.
Visitors can explore a variety of experiences, including a themed photo booth inspired by Saudi homes, interactive activities, and outdoor games. Highlights include “Keys to the Home,” an interactive heritage map; “Ajawid’s Store,” inspired by a traditional Saudi market; “Stories from Our Museum,” a puzzle-based storytelling activity; “Dresses of Honor,” an interactive showcase of traditional Saudi garments; and “Testaments of Home,” a matching game connecting cultural symbols and elements of Saudi daily life. Additionally, the “Shadow Theater” presents “In Their Footsteps,” a performance that brings to life historical figures through storytelling and discovery.
Marking the 299th anniversary of Saudi Founding Day, the initiative offers visitors an opportunity to reflect on the Kingdom’s historical roots. Through programs such as “Memory of the Home,” the National Museum of Saudi Arabia continues to strengthen its role as a dynamic cultural hub, making Saudi history accessible and engaging for today’s audiences.
