DUBAI: Following a landmark win at the Joy Awards, where his series Salma was named Favorite Levant Series, Nicolas Mouawad further strengthens his global profile as he becomes the first talent to sign with The Qode under its newly launched Talent Elevation Service, a strategic platform focused on creating high-value brand partnerships and international opportunities for leading regional talent.
Mouawad reached a major global milestone with his performance as Abraham in the American feature film His Only Son, which ranked among the top releases at the U.S. box office after its nationwide theatrical release. Having been selected from over 1,700 international actors, Mouawad continues to bridge the gap between regional and Western markets, a journey further solidified by his appearance in George Miller’s “Three Thousand Years of Longing,” which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2022.
“Joining The Qode felt like a natural next step,”said Nicolas Mouawad.“What resonated with me most was the focus on thoughtful, meaningful collaborations that respect both the craft and the people behind it. I’m excited to work together to explore opportunities that align with who I am as an actor and storyteller.”
Introducing The Qode’s Talent Elevation Service: Nicolas Mouawad’s collaboration marks the official launch of The Qode’s Talent Elevation Service. Led by Managing Partner Ayman Fakoussa, the Talent Elevation Service is built on The Qode’s deep expertise in brand strategy, storytelling, and market insight. The division is designed to identify and structure high-value brand collaborations for talent, leveraging data, audience intelligence, and The Qode’s longstanding relationships across luxury, culture, and lifestyle.
Emilio Bastón joins The Qode to oversee the division’s talent and partnerships strategy. The service is focused on positioning local and regional talent within MENA markets, while also unlocking cross-border opportunities and global brand ambassadorships – representing a strategic evolution of The Qode’s work with leading international and regional brands.
“With the Talent Elevation Service, our intention is not to replace existing agents, publicists, or management structures,”said Ayman Fakoussa, Managing Partner of The Qode. “Our role is to complement and elevate talent by creating meaningful, brand-led opportunities that sit alongside their current representation; working collaboratively withbrands, talent, and their teams in a way that adds long-term value.”
As The Qode continues to expand its roster, the company welcomes conversations with brands, talent, and partners seeking to collaborate with the new division. While The Qode signs select talent on an exclusive basis, the service is intentionally designed to operate as a strategic extension of existing talent representation.
A recent example of this collaborative approach saw The Qode’s talent team working alongside the existing teams of Nancy Ajram and Mona Zaki to secure their participation in an exclusive event at Burj Al Arab on January 22 for the launch of luxury brand Abel Richards, illustrating how the service operates as a collaborative, brand-focused partner within the wider talent ecosystem.
