DUBAI: The opening day of Gulfood 2026 witnessed a strong and vibrant presence of Pakistan’s food and agribusiness sector at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai.
The Chairman of Pakistan Business Council Dubai (PBC) was invited to attend the inauguration ceremony, reflecting the Council’s active role in supporting Pakistani businesses on international platforms. The ceremony was also attended by the Consul General of Pakistan and the Trade & Investment Counsellor, highlighting the continued institutional support for Pakistan’s trade and export initiatives.

The Pakistan Pavilion was formally inaugurated by Mr. Athar Husain Khokhar, Director General TDAP, along with Mr. Zubair Motiwala, Chief Executive of TDAP.
This year, over 50 Pakistani companies are participating in Gulfood, showcasing a wide range of products including food items, beverages, rice, spices, frozen foods, confectionery, and other value-added agro products. Their participation reflects Pakistan’s growing export potential and its commitment to strengthening trade ties with global markets.

Pakistan Business Council Dubai continues to facilitate engagement, networking, and collaboration opportunities for Pakistani exhibitors throughout the exhibition.
