To celebrate the resilience and leadership of women entrepreneurs, the Shevolution 2.0 Conference was held on 13 November in Karachi. The event was organized by the Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry Korangi (WCCIK) in collaboration with the Missions of the Federal Republic of Germany in Pakistan and PAIDAR – Poverty Alleviation and Inclusive Development Across Rural Sindh, a programme funded by the European Union and implemented by UNIDO.
The panel discussion titled “Reimagining Women’s Economic Autonomy Through a Gender Lens” was designed and moderated by Huda Bhurgri , National Gender & Youth Expert at PAIDAR–UNIDO and featured Ms. Farhat Rasheed (Entrepreneur), Khizar Parvez (CEO, Sindh Enterprise Development Fund), Ms. Imrana Shahriyar (Consultant & Handicraft Expert – PAIDAR) & Sumbul Tabani (CEO & Creative Head, L’Amour) as panelists.

The discussion revolved around providing women-centric financial inclusion programs, strengthening public-private partnerships, and encouraging urban entrepreneurs to explore local potential and create opportunities for rural women.
